The other day the youngest boy had a play date at the park with his best friend from his “new” school. They had so much fun and were so happy to see each other again!
Today I brought the youngest boy, youngest girl, and the oldest girl to a fun filled pirate day.
Everything was provided to the spectators for free by POAC. POAC is short for Parents Of Autistic Children which is a non profit that provides support and training to families with autistic children.
Valhalla Pirates put on a wonderful show! They volunteer their time each year so these families have a good time.
This year POAC had more activities for the children to do. There was a train ride, a bounce house
And a buried treasure hunt!
It was a fun day for all! Thanks POAC and Valhalla pirates, see you again next year!
G and G Winters have been visiting from Florida for the summer. They decided since the circus was in town they wanted to take the kids to see it. We could not have asked for a nicer day! The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too muggy. It was a great day which would have been even better had we all not been a little sun burnt from the Air Show the day before.
Almost every year for as long as I have lived away from my parents we have attended the Atlantic City Air Show. This year it was no different. I love everything about it, the show, that is FREE, the day at the beach that is FREE, and the kids having non stop enjoyment all day long that is FREE and does not require me doing much!
I got to say the kids don’t really watch too much of the show, and each year we move further and further down the beach away from the main action. They don’t care for the loud noises of the plains or all the stunts preformed high above the beach. They go just for the swimming and sand!
They all had a great time anyway and I got to see the show!
Today here in Jersey we were having a very hot and muggy kind of day. The kids wanted to do something, but didn’t want to head outside. So this being their last day of camp they came home with lots and lots of extra crafts. So we got out some water-color paint and had ourselves a painting party!
Today the Twin Boy and Twin Girl deiced to go and watch the speed boat racing down the road from our hose. They had lots of fun watching to boats go over 80 MPH.
